Susanne and I have begun another Evangelista tradition. If you haven’t already gathered it, we like those things, traditions that is. We’re going out for breakfast on Sunday mornings… The idea of keeping traditions is more than just some ritualistic pleasure, or fancy way of excluding others from our agenda. It’s not just a word used when “outdated” might suite itself better. For us, we like to think of traditions as something you do for safekeeping, a preservation of sorts. Going out for breakfast on Sundays is one way we can keep the pedals on our marriage going when all of the distractions of life might pull us away.
Most of the time we end up here at Flour, a cute bakery in the South End. Susanne drinks decaf coffee.
Delightful egg sandwich on focaccia bread.
We brought along a clementine.
